R&R Event
I knew this event in other servers I was a GM in..
It's called R&R
You play in the OX map
A GM hides and sits on a platform
There's a GM that tells you when to start or you can make a clock count down
When the clock reaches 0 the event players go sit on ONE platform
The GM's give them 30 seconds to find a spot (or 15 seconds)
If they regular players sit on you on your platform they win a prize (:
That's it people <3
I hope this is accepted

Re: R&R Event
but if theyre were right amounts of people
peopel would just go on 1 char on each.
so theres really 100% sure someones gonna win o__e
not like a win or loose event
Dx

Re: R&R Event
not really
in gvp/pvg [GM vs. Player/Player Vs. GM]
gm of course wins btu therse rules with no max stat items gm has to take everything off and only have a level 10 sword/bow/etc.

Re: R&R Event
I got this idea from another server, but It should actually be used if the community is LARGE.
A GM opens the warper in a certain town, say Henesys? Then the GM goes in hide and sits anywhere and gives a few clues about his/her surroundings. Then whoever sits on him/her first wins.

Not really.
instead who sits on him/her would be TOO difficult.
i think it should be whoever sits closest too his/her
would be better eh? xD
Re: R&R Event
I love this idea, i'll be sure to use it sometime

in each event someone HAS TO WIN
exactly, if people stand on that one, then good for them, they win, if they dont, then you just redo it. all events are different, i like this one, its a good use of the oxquiz map

Its not predictable. the gm is in hide... they dont know where the gm is, EVERY player still has to HOPE they land on the one the gm is,Oreos wrote:but its predictable then ;-;

i was talking about that in the end someone should win.
like i do agree that someone should win.
but its just too predictable ;-; for me.
and thanks for denying about "im lame" part )':

What's really the point of hosting an event where nobody wins?Oreos wrote:not that tyler.... =.=

Re: R&R Event
actually never said no body wins.
im talking about events that theres a chance no one can win. o-o
i mean if its were its set that 1 person will win then its just easily predictable
its just the fact that im really really lame .__. i like interesting events that theres a twist or something ;-;

Re: R&R Event
I've played this event in another server many times before. It's really rather unpredictable. It merely depends on luck, but the chances of someone winning naturally increases with more players. Or you could possibly look for a map with more platforms than that of the OX map to decrease the chances of winning.

Re: R&R Event
I think the OX map already has enough platforms for this kind of event .-.Mishee wrote:I've played this event in another server many times before. It's really rather unpredictable. There's more than enough platforms for over 20 players and there are usually less than 10 people at an event (currently).
On a side note, someone should be always able to win!
An event with players constantly losing is no fun for anyone (except maybe an arrogant GM).
